What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hettie is a Husky mix found in north Austin on 09/11/23. She is now spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is protective, loving, playful, and comfortable with adults and older (10+) children. She loves running and exploring, car rides, and neighborhood walks. Hettie would do best in an active household where people are constantly about, or with another female dog, and she likes being outside for hours at a time in mild weather.
HETTIE WILL NEED A FENCED YARD FOR ACTIVITY. She does occasionally dig and she WILL chase smaller wildlife. She does not get along well with some male dogs, and cats are best avoided. She will follow you around constantly until she becomes more comfortable with her new environment, and will very likely prefer to sleep in the same bedroom as you.
Hettie will have her own collar & tags, harness, leash, bed, toys, at least 20 lbs dry food, 24 cans wet food, and enough Bravecto for 2024 upon adoption (over $600 in total value).
