Hi! We got Joy from Animal Friends as a kitten 5 years ago; she's an amazing cat and great with kids. Unfortunately, she is a nervous cat and doesn't do well with our dog, we've tried different ways but after 2 years it is getting worse and recently hasn't been leaving our kids room. She is such a good cat but this is stressing her out too much and she needs to be in a home with maybe a cat but no dogs, for sure. We had to move her food upstairs as she doesn't come down anymore and we'd hate to see her live like this - She used love to snuggle at night and hang out on the couch with us; loves to purr and is extremely well behaved with the kids; does not bite or scratch when picked up and we want that for her again in her new home. She is also an indoor only cat, has never been outside.
