Scarecrow, the matriarch of this dynamic duo, is as affectionate as they come. She has a talent for hogging all the attention, but who could resist her charms? Her vocal nature is a delight as she communicates her needs with you... which are more chin scratches and belly rubs. If you're looking for the perfect lap companion, scarecrow is your girl!

Patches, the daughter, is the yin to Scarecrow's yang. She's more laid back, taking her time to warm up to new experiences and new people. Her sweetness knows no bounds. Give her some chin scratches, and she turns into a purring machine.

You’re interested in adopting? That’s great! We have many eager candidates who would love to meet you! If you have questions, please call us at 208-788-4351.

$150 Dogs (All ages)
$100 Kittens (Under 1 year, second kitten is free!)
$75 Senior and special needs dogs (7+,add'l care or meds needed)
$50 Cats (1 year and older)

We ask all who are interested in adopting an animal to fill out an adoption application. We interview all potential adopters with the goal of placing an animal with the correct family and compatible lifestyle. This is of prime importance – we endeavor to make this new home the animal’s residence for life. All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving our facility as part of our adoption contract.

The adoption fees include spay / neuter costs as well as any vaccinations administered at the shelter. All animals are microchipped and your adoption fee covers the cost of a dog license for all of our Blaine County residents. You’ll also go home with a bag of food and a bag of goodies for your new pet!
