Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miles is the sweetest, busiest 18-week old purebred mini-Aussie baby born on May 28th. Right now he weighs just under 16 pounds, so he'll be a nice medium sized dog. He has the absolute softest fur, and he's cute as a button, and he's really responsive and smart. He isn't neutered yet, but he is microchipped and up to date on his shots, on heartworm and flea and tick preventatives.
Miles is a typical Aussie puppy, he will need a lot of exercise and stimulation. He knows some basic commands, although he does have a tendency to just fall over after being asked to 'sit.' He comes when he is called but sometimes gets distracted on the way and veers off to do something more interesting. So, a typical 4 month-old.
Miles was surrendered by a family with three young children who found also managing a puppy to be too much. He didn't do well with all the chaos and will do best in a home without any young children, but a quiet home with teenagers should be fine.
Miles is doing great with house training - no accidents since getting to his foster home - but he does piddle some when he's excited; we expect he will grow out of this. Miles would love another playful dog to hang out with to teach him the ropes, but he could also be okay on his own as long as he gets plenty to do.

There is an additional $50 neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of neuter and a $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
