My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuko the water boy! This smiley sweet guy is a couch potato/sailor/good walking pal rolled into one. We discovered this year that swimming is alot of fun for Zuko and that fetch is the next big thing. This bug lug enjoys sunny days alongside a garden, watering in the evening with a best friend and their beverage, leisurely walks in the neighborhood or on the lakeside, and plenty of love from his close human pals. Zuko has a great personality and is mostly quiet with the occasional aliens sounds when he needs something. Zuko is crate trained, leash trained, potty trained, well mannered and an easy dog to exercise. He loves people once he gets to know them but is protective in his own territory and is nervous in big crowds. Zuko prefers the great outdoors to any overcrowded public outings. This big guy needs a home that has a loving family, with kids over the age of 8 years old. He does do well with younger children but can take a little time to warm up to new people so its best to be careful. Zuko doesnt need to meet every single person that enters his adopters home and would be fine relaxing in a crate if he didnt want to socialize with a stranger.

Zuko can live with a housemate just needs to be the right dog. He prefers dogs his size and smaller, chiller and playful as well. Zuko tends to be nervous around dogs larger than himself. Cats are no biggie for this guy he gets along just fine with cats.

Zuko has been in boarding for almost 2 years now and is in need of an amazing home. Once he is placed his spot will open up for a new rescue that needs rehabilitative work. The cycle will go on. Please reach out today to learn more about him!
