What a beautiful girl Miss Shelby is!! She has a shiny black coat that is so eye-catching that it makes you stare at her. What a knockout she will be at the doggie park or taking a stroll with her human in her new neighborhood. Shelby will never know the life of roaming the streets looking for a warm or cool place to lay her head. We believe Shelby is around 2 yrs old and has already learned some basic commands like "sit". She is very smart and it won't be any time before she walks great on a leash and learns her house manners.
Shelby is working on her potty training and is doing well with it. She loves to chase after the water hose and loves to tackle the stream it puts out. She would make a wonderful waterdog on the river or beach. She has learned to fetch and will run after all the dog toys tossed for her to chase after.
She loves to cuddle and will make a great companion to any family or individual.

Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
