Estrella is a Shepherd x cattle dog cross weighing 45 lbs. Estrella and her litter of 5 were found near the SPCA Puerto Vallarta sanctuary. Their mum Keisha was tied up and left blind after surviving being poisoned. The puppies were in very poor condition suffering from malnourishment at such a young age.
Estrella spent her early life in the SPCA PV sanctuary in Mexico. On walks she would always check that her blind mum was ok and would guide her along. Estrella is now in foster in Kelowna where she is living (and cuddling) with two other dogs. She can be timid to start with new dogs and cats, but really loves to walk with other dogs and is playful. She enjoys the beach, swimming and playing frisbee. She was the calmest of her litter. Estrella would like a home with a yard and would surely love another dog in the home. Estrella has been kind with people. She's a stunning dog with a kind heart.
If you think you might be a good fit for Estrella please email pvcaadoptions@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself, and we can send you an application, or you can find our online application here: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. Our sister shelter, the SPCA PV rescues, rehabilitates and promote sterilization in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. The organizations are wholly run through donations and volunteer efforts. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!
