What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Brownie (F, tortoiseshell, short hair) was rescued from a residential area in West Torrance in July 2022. Born in May 2022, she is spayed and vaccinated.
We prefer for her to go to a home with another cat, as she loves sleeping with our resident adult cat. She is shy around humans and runs from reaching hands, so the best way to approach her is when she is cuddling with another cat.
Brownie loves to nap with her sister and cozies up to our older resident cats for grooming. She enjoys being in the same room as her humans, though she avoids reaching hands and doesn't enjoy being picked up. She takes a couple of pets if she's already lounging, but she doesn't enjoy being petted for long. We're confident with patience and time to build trust, Brownie will be a loyal cat in your home. Compared to her sister, she goes harder than her sister for feather toys, and is the loudest meower at meal times.
