My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a loving companion to brighten up your life? Look no further! Jaxon is a charming 5 year old Maltese (mix?) ready to steal your heart and become your lifelong friend. Jaxon is already housebroken so no accidents! This guy will give you a warm greeting but not little kids, so he cannot be adopted to a home with young children. Jaxon gets along with other docile dogs, and hasn't had a problem while on a leash greeting other dogs. Jaxon is looking for his forever family. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped, included in his $350 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt Jaxon, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, https://www.jotform.com/form/200215767055148 . Jaxon is in Fairfield, CT and ready to come home. We cannot be certain what his true mix is.

Additional adoption info

How To Adopt From Us
The first step is to SUBMIT AN APPLICATION found on each dog's description. When possible, the next step is checking with your Vet reference. We will then schedule a phone interview with the potential adopter to determine if the dog would be a good match for your family. A home visit is at our discretion. If the match is approved, the adopter will enter into an adoption agreement, at which point we arrange transport for the dog to it's new family. We endeavor to create forever homes for these deserving dogs; therefore, we reserve the right to refuse adoption of a dog if we determine the family is not the correct match for the dog/puppy.

Sorry, You CAN'T Visit Us - We DO NOT have a facility in Connecticut. All of our dogs (unless noted) remain in the south until they have an approved adopter.

More about this rescue

Our first experience with rescue was when we brought Jessie up from a kill shelter in North Carolina. Our family couldn't believe that they were killing sweet, wonderful dogs like this every day. We decided to do something about it. That was the beginning of our journey into rescue in 2006.
