This helps Gunter's Legacy Animal Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Unbelievable Itsy is still available for adoption. This baby girl has been through so much in the last year she spent almost 11 months in the shelter we do not even know how she survived. When we pulled her two wonderful people offered to foster her and then all of a sudden someone took interest in her and she was adopted. We thought great new beginning. But it was not to be. She was returned about a month later there no fault of her own. She was not getting along with the other dog in the house which we thought was unusual, since she is fostered with other dogs, and seems to get along for the most part.
Itsy!
Sacramento, CA
Little Itsy is, to all of our surprise, still available for adoption! How could this sweetie have spent a whole year in a shelter without getting adopted, only to still not get adopted in rescue?
Her foster shared these photos and the following update:
"Itsy isn't shy about taking over! She is shy at first but is warming up. She's starting to wag her tail. The prior foster trained her to use a doggie door. We don't have one so we have to watch her, but she will go outside if the door is open. She's very quiet. No whining or barking."
Itsy is a catch who is learning quickly what life outside the shelter can look like. You can apply to adopt this cutie pie here:
Female| Chihuahua | 6 pounds | 8 years old | spayed | Microchipped | Vaccinated | has had a dental
