My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vivienne (affectionally will be called Viv for short) is looking for an adopter or foster who's in need of a new work-out buddy/motivator.

WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Vivienne's motto is "Play hard, love hard." She can be a wild child during playtime and absolutely loves, and needs to, tire herself out while playing with other dogs or humans. She's yet to meet an adult, kid, or other dog she can't get along with because, duh, extra playmates. Once sufficiently tired, she's the sweetest dog, full of cuddles and kisses. She's still adjusting to the crate life but is learning that the quicker she settles, the faster she sees her favorite human (you) again. Viv is also realizing that she's no longer puppy-sized and can't excitedly greet you with jumps every time you come home. Through reinforcement with her foster and other training, though, she's mastering a calmer way of showing overflowing love and excitement.

Viv loves holding hands and being pet, but clipping her nails is a new and frightening experience she's still trying to conquer. She would love to be the center of your world and has no problem getting your attention through her impressive toy-playing abilities or a well-timed bark. If you want a happy-go-lucky playmate who will love you with her entire heart, Vivienne is your perfect match.

ATTRIBUTES: Vivienne lives with dogs in foster and has done great interacting with children outside of the home.

More about this rescue

Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
