Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Yoshi
Nicknames: Lil man. Papas.
Breed: Boston Terrier
Sex: Male
Age: 6 years
Weight: 13 lbs.
Before OMD: Breeder release to the rescue.
Key descriptors: Happy. Playful. Cuddlebug. Joyful. Loving. Zoom-tastic.
Energy level: Medium.
What makes us laugh: When he starts his spin-cycle because he’s just so dang excited about mealtime or his person getting home. The fact that his tongue frequently gets stuck outside of his mouth.
What we love: His sweet nature. His remarkably handsome face. His zest for life and how loving he is.
What he loves: Snuggling on the couch with his humans. Toys (especially the stuffed ones). Walks. Being around his family. The sunshine. French fries.
Life Goal: To lay on the couch with his siblings and parents watching a Harry Potter Marathon...or Sunday Football...or Netflix Binge. Doesn't matter to him.
Stranger danger: Just a bit – he is a nervous nelly at first and needs about 5 minutes to warm up.
What he knows: Walking nicely on the leash. He’s been working on sit.
What he’s working on: Not nipping when he gets over excited. Less jumping all over his people when it’s couch time.
Dogs: Please! He’s done great with all dogs he’s met and would love a dog sibling.
Cats: Fine with him – he tries to play with them, but also listens to their hiss to back the heck off.
Kids: Yep! Older, gentle kids are best!
House-trained: Working on it! Averaging an accident a day in the house (if he had a life motto we think it would be something like Live. Love. Laugh. (Pee) Party.
Crate-trained: Yes!
Yoshi is vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is available for adoption to CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from omdrescue.org
