My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Her story...AND she needs your help!
Pansy/Sasquatch/Sasha
This girl was on the urgent list at a shelter within our very own state. We rushed quite literally to her aid to save her life yet to find out she was in emergency surgery. You see, when heartworms get so bad, they can cause the valve in the heart to collapse under the strain of heartworms. The shelter saw the signs immediately and performed emergency surgery and removed 37 worms!!!!! You read that right.....37 worms.
Pansy stayed in foster care until she was healthy enough to be adopted. One day, she was at an event and like magic, she met HER people. We all remember that day last year as we were so overjoyed! Pansy then became Sasquatch and went foster to adopt until the tensing heartworm treatment was complete. She was loved, happy, fatter and so so content UNTIL a horrible unexpected tragic moment happened. Her human went on hospice.
Sasquatch now Sasha has been living with a family friend yet the time has come to find her a NEW foster or adopter and her her back to the Charleston area.
This girl has been through so so so much in her lifetime. CAN YOU OPEN YOUR HOME TO HER?
