My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Casey. I am 1 1/2 yrs. old and I weigh 38 lbs. I'm fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I just weaned my first litter of puppies so my girlish figure should be back in no time. I was surrendered to the rescue by a breeder. I am a fun loving girl with a happy disposition! I love being around people and lots of snuggle time! I get along well with all of the other dogs in my foster home ranging from 5 lb to 120 lb and 4 months of age to seniors. I am also good with children - my former owner kept me inside and had five young children. I ignore cats. I walk well on a leash and love to go for car rides. I am house trained and my foster says that I will put my head on her lap to let her know when I need to go out to potty. I enjoy being inside and outsid as well as playing with the other dogs. Toys are lots of fun too! I don't bark much and I have a medium energy level. II'm also very smart and a fast learner! I'm very agile and would do great at agility training. I would be just as happy going from nice long walks though. I'm a great companion with lots of love and loyalty to give. I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home. Belly rubs are a must!

I am spayed, up-to-date on my rabies and dhpp vaccines, and I am heartworm negative. Copies of my vetting paperwork will accompany me to my new home. Once an application is approved, the phone number to the foster home will be provided.

Email is the best method of contact. Applications can be found on the rescue website carolinacaninerescuenc.com
