Once upon a time, there was a lovable black and white girl named Kanga. Kanga somehow ended up at a southern shelter that routinely euthanizes because they run out of room to house everyone.
Kanga was heartbroken and scared in the shelter.
NCPAS was able to rescue her at the last minute and get her to safety!
Kanga dreams of being adopted into a home with no other pets, a warm bed, plenty of toys, and a loving family. She can't wait to live the rest of her life in a loving home.
She's only 3 and a nice medium-size.
The adoption application is at northcountrypetadoption.org

More about this rescue
We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
