My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gemma!
This squishy, playful cuddlebug is one of those dogs that is hard to put into words just how perfect and loving she is! Gemma is in foster care, and her fosters describe her as "a true GEM."
"She has two modes," her foster dad says: "Fetch and sleep." Gemma is obsessed with tennis balls and could chase them for hours. But once the toys are put away, she'll happily lay in your lap and cuddle like it's her job!
Gemma's fosters say that she is loyal and attentive, driven and friendly, smart and inquisitive. She is social with other dogs her size or larger, but can be very forward, which not all dogs appreciate. She does not get along with small dogs. She's responsive to commands, is housebroken, and a huge snugglebug. Her wiggly butt puts a smile on everyone's face when she comes to greet you!
Gemma is waiting patiently for a home to call her own. She would do best in a household without young kiddos, but older kids/teens would be just fine. She would be perfect for a mildly active family, or at least someone willing to play fetch with her a few times a day to burn out her energy. She loves her outdoor time and taking walks. She is an "easy'' walker. She's a fantastic dog, just waiting on the right someone to come along. Turns out she's a big college basketball fan, too. Bet on Gemma, she's a winner!
