Story:

Oliver and his siblings were rescued from Hesperia, CA. They have a heartbreaking story and they survived a deadly disease. They were found roaming on Ranchero road near Santa Fe Ave. When found, the puppies were so lethargic and it seemed that some breeder dumped them. Since the puppies seemed lethargic, our volunteer called the rescue and asked for a rapid Parvo test. Another volunteer drove an hour to deliver the test. The puppies were tested and they were positive of Parvo. The rescue believes that a breeder had abandoned them after discovering that they contracted the disease. The rescue had to start them on medication from Day #1. The puppies followed a successful medication protocol against Parvo. They were kept hydrated. The vomiting and diarrhea were put under control within the first couple of days. After the 4th day of medication, the puppies started eating on their own and their stool started to be firm. On the 5th day, the puppies appeared much better and they all survived Parvo.

During their stay in the rescue, the puppies received 2 rounds of shots for the 5-in-1 (Parvo, distemper, adenovirus I, Adenovirus II, Parainfluenza) and Bordetella. The were dewormed and received flea and tick control medication. The puppies are super healthy with a healthy coat and a healthy stool. They eat solid grain free food and they are independent. They are now 3 months old.

Behavioral-wise, the puppies are so sweet. They are extremely smart and fast to learn. They are of a breed that requires the adopter to have an active lifestyle. They are great for people who like to go walking, hiking, exercising.

The puppies are not of age to be spayed/neutered yet. The adopter must sign a spay/neuter agreement with the rescue at the time of the adoption.

If you think that any of the puppies matches your criteria in a dog, please consider giving them a home.
