Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hermione is a 14-week-old Chihuahua puppy who tips the scale at 7 pounds. We’re guessing she’ll be about 10 pounds fully grown. Right now she looks like a perfect little fox, but her back and tail fur is longer and we’re thinking she might turn out to be a beautiful long-haired Chi girl.
Hermione’s puppy theme song is “Girls just wanna have fun.” She loves to play. She’s in a house with 5 other dogs, and she makes a good effort at getting them all up off their butts and running around to chase her. But mostly she plays with her sister. They love to chase each other around the bedroom—up the ramp onto the bed, jump from the bed to the ottoman, from the ottoman to the couch, from the couch to the floor, repeat, repeat, repeat. She’s particularly fond of chew toys.
Every time you make eye contact with Hermione, Foommpp! She’s turned over onto her belly, just in case you might be of a mood to give a dog a tummy tickle. Tummy rubs are her favorite thing, after play. Once she’s worn down, she would like to have a nice little space in your lap, please, to settle and get some head and back scritches. Her fur is very soft.
Freya is not crate-trained but she is pen-trained. She is also potty-pad trained—but not housetrained. She’s living in a house with 6 dogs and gets along well with everyone. If you’re looking for a travel companion, though, this is not the dog! If she’s in a car more than 10 minutes, she gets carsick.
Hermione would do fine in a house or an apartment. She’d also be happy with children 12 or older (no young children—she’s still mouthy sometimes).
Hermione’s adoption fee is $275 and includes spay, all puppy shots & microchip.
Note:
We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.
