Grady is something of a genius - he already knew sit and leash walking at just 3 months old! And he's only been learning more and better things while waiting for his home to find him. Those bright eyes and happy smile are brimming with intelligence. But he's also still a youngster, and loves hanging out with other puppy friends and having a good time. Of course he also loves to hang out with you, but he's happy to entertain himself with his toys if you are busy. Here is your chance to show off the smartest, cutest boy on the block.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is

**To provide the pets in our care with a decent, safe and sanitary place;

**To stop suffering among animals mutilated or injured;
