My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello I'm Madigan! I came all the way to Northern Michigan from St. Landry Parish in Louisiana. I'm a very sweet girl and I'd love to find a family who will show me about all the finer things in life. I'm playful, energetic and ready to learn. I'm a young gal, I'm just over one year old, so we have plenty of time for you to teach me how to be my best. I hope my family comes for me soon- maybe it's you!

More about this shelter

Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is dedicated to providing animals the tender, loving care and attention they need to become adoptable companions.

From our humble beginning in 1951, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has grown to meet the needs of homeless dogs and cats. Since moving to our state-of-the-art facility at 1300 West Conway in Harbor Springs, Michigan, in 2001, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has sterilized more than 10,000 animals owned by community members and has placed more than 5,000 animals into loving homes.

In addition to being an adoption center, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society offers a variety of proactive programs to help shelter animals become adoptable companions including the “Pit Stop Program,” the “Ruff-to-Ready Scholarship Program,” “Spay-it-Fourward,” the “Animals Need to Give Everybody Love (ANGEL) Program,” boarding, grooming, daycare, and a full-service veterinary clinic.
