Hi everyone I'm Hades! Please don't judge me for the name choice, I had no say when it was chosen. I was found as a stray, and taken to FWACC I somehow ended up on the euthanasia list, but Saving Hope came and rescued me! I am a 2 year old retriever mix, and am a large size boy. My favorite things to do are to go for walks, and to play outside with my foster brother. My foster parents say I'm an active boy who loves to play! I know sit, but I'm still working on my basic manners. I'm highly teachable, and food motivated! I walk well on a leash, but sometimes get distracted when I see another dog or cat. I just want to go play! I've never been close to a cat so I'm not sure how I would react, but I'm definitely dog friendly. My foster parents think I would do best having another dog sibling in the home to play with. I haven't been around children, but when I hear the neighbors kids playing outside, I sometimes cry because I want to join them! My foster parents think I would do best in a home with older children because I'm still working on not jumping on everyone to greet them. If you would like to meet me or adopt me, please complete an adoption application to set up a meet in greet! I promise I'll be a good boy.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
