CURRENTLY IN FOSTER

Meet Venus! Venus is a 5 year old energetic love who weighs 55 pounds. She came to the shelter after she was left in a vacant home. She loves toys; she loves people; she loves doing things. She is an active busy body, and great exercise companion!

She is a wonderful dog for someone who is looking for an active companion. She's gotten along with other large dogs here at the shelter, and is currently housed with another dog. We don't know if she's been around small dogs, cats, or kids before, but we think she could do well.

She knows basic cues like her name, touch, sit, watch me, and does well on leash after she gets past her initial excitement. She will absolutely love to chase tennis balls, and play keep away with you for as long as you can!
