Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nola! Nola is a sweet and beautiful German Shepherd girl looking for a forever home. She was adopted previously but unfortunately did not get along with the cats in the home, and then had an issue with the other dogs in the home. Nola is dog friendly typically, but if there is conflict will not back down from a fight so would have to be with other dogs who are either very submissive, OR no other pets at this time. Nola is a very smart girl and bonds up with her people quickly. She was born 11/23/21 so will be 2 years old in November. Nola is reportedly housetrained. She does, however, like to chew things and can be destructive in the home per previous adopters, so if she is left alone she should be crated in a sturdy style dog kennel (we have suggestions on ones that work! Her adoption fee is NO CHARGE due to a generous donor, and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov if interested in adopting this awesome girl! Shepherd experience is a plus!
