My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Dallas
Age: 4.5 months
Breed: Lab Mix

Description:
Dallas is a delightful 4.5-month-old lab mix with a heart as big as Texas. His charming scruff, resembling a beard, adds to his unique and endearing appearance. But it's his personality that truly shines, making him the perfect addition to your family.

Personality:
Dallas is a bundle of joy and love. His playful and loving nature is infectious, and his boundless energy will keep you entertained for hours. He's always ready for an adventure and equally eager for some quality cuddle time.

Compatibility:

Dogs: Dallas is a social butterfly among his fellow canines. He gets along famously with other dogs and is sure to be a hit at the dog park. He loves a good game of fetch and wrestling with his furry friends.
Kids: Dallas is a gentle and affectionate pup, making him a fantastic companion for children of all ages. His playful spirit will keep the kids entertained, and his loving nature will provide comfort and security.
Cats: Dallas has not been exposed to cats, so introducing him to feline friends should be done gradually and with proper supervision.
Training:
At his age, Dallas is a quick learner. He's eager to please and ready to tackle basic obedience training and even some fun tricks. His intelligence and enthusiasm make training a rewarding experience.

Health:
Dallas is in excellent health for his age. He's received his initial vaccinations and is on a regular deworming schedule. Routine vet check-ups and a balanced diet will help him continue to thrive.

Forever Home:
Dallas is searching for a forever home where he can be cherished and included in all the family adventures. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and energetic companion who is great with kids and other dogs, Dallas is the pup for you.

Adopt Dallas today and let his boundless energy and loving spirit brighten your days. Contact us to schedule a meeting with Dallas and discover the joy and companionship he can bring to your life. Your new best friend awaits!

Additional adoption info

Our dogs are special to us, so we do check references and may require home checks for adopters. Most of our dogs come from kill shelters, dumped or abused. Some maybe need or in need of training.
Our adoption fees vary depending on the medical needs of the dog and cover all shots up to date according to the age of the dog, all required testing for diseases, spay or neutering of dogs (age appropriate), micro-chipped and transport fees (if we transport the dog).

We required a submitted application along with 3 non-related references. Please be patient, we are an all volunteer organization, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Go meet their pets

We have events in Central Arkansas area and New England area. We operate through dedicated fosters. If you are not in Central Arkansas we can send you video or even do face time to allow you to see how the dog interacts with other dogs and fosters. We also can do live video with Periscope application for smart phones.

If the dog is not in your area we can transport to a local foster in your area. Transport usually takes 3-5 days depending on your location and method of transport.

More about this rescue

We're an all volunteer group of concerned citizens committed to animals in need of rescue. We are passionate about spaying/neutering to end unnecessary euthanasia due to pet over-population. We rescue from local high kill shelters and abandoned dogs. To adopt go to http://www.kcpetrescue.org/adoption-application.html
