Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Ragnar. I was rescued in South Carolina with my brother Darth.. We were found in an outside kennel, living underneath a tarp with SEVEN other dogs. It was not a nice way to live at all and.my rough start has left me shy and apprehensive, but still friendly. I have been here for TWO years now and I am sure ready for my own home! I am pretty fast to warm up once I know I can trust you. I like to play with other dogs and I go out in a big playgroup with them. I think that I could make an excellent family pet but would do better in a home with slightly older children because I am rather big and smaller jumpy kids startle me a bit. I so NOT want to share a home with "THOSE cats either" Honestly I only want to chase them but that make everyone unhappy. I need a firm but kind owner that will teach me how to build my confidence. I'd love a great yard to run around in, but if you can take me for brisk walks to burn energy, and are willing to play with me when we are inside that is great too. I do not need a super active lifestyle, just a calm loving one. I am extremely food motivated and that can work in your favor! A little more training and you will have a great friend and bestie for life. (Just keep those treats handy while we are training) It would be PAWsome if someone would Foster me like my brother Darth. He is so lucky to be in one. It helps to get adjusted to home life before we transition to a FURever home. I am sure it is out there somewhere.
