My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peter! We were only supposed to foster Peter during the Hurricane to help empty the shelter but quickly realized he needed a place to learn that not all humans are bad. Peter is an extremely sweet and intelligent dog! He loves attention and will definitely let you know if he wants to cuddle. He has picked up on basic commands rather quickly, is house trained, no signs of food aggression, and although he was extremely petrified of a leash at first, we are currently headed in the direction of enjoying being on a leash and going for walks.
One of Peters favorite thing to do to pass the time is hang outside with the toddlers and play with the other dogs (big and small). We tried to crate him the first night but he seemed paralyzed with fear so we didn't have the heart to push the matter and have not tried again since. He does great roaming the house freely while we are home or away.
