My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leroy is a needy boy! He loves to be pet and purr while he sits with his human. If you spend too much time on the phone or computer then Leroy is perfect for you! He will get in between you and all of your electronics, even if you don't want him to do so. He does not believe in enabling technology addictions. Also, don't ever consider sleeping alone again, because this guy needs as much cuddle time as possible with his people.

Oh, and he likes to play a lot and can play with toys all by himself, so he is well-behaved without a human home to watch him. He also has a unique-sounding meow that has made his voice stand out when asking for treats...which he loves!

Leroy is scheduled to be neutered in May but could go to a home as a foster to adopt, where full ownership would transfer after his neuter is completed and final shots have been received. His adoption fee is $100 and would be due upfront in a foster-to-adopt situation, but in the event the potential adopter does not choose to adopt him after fostering then the fee would be refundable.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please reach out and we can answer any questions you have about the potential pet before submitting an application.

2.

Interview

This may also be back and forth messaging for both of us to get clarification (yea technology). Home checks can be virtual as well.

3.

Approve Application

4.

Pay Fee

The adoption fee is refundable in the event the adoption is not finalized after the home trial.

5.

Take the Pet Home

Home trials are 1-2 weeks to determine if the cat is a good fit. Adopters can exchange a cat that is not a good fit during this time frame.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

If you choose to move forward with the adoption then this is the last step. CONGRATULATIONS!

Additional adoption info

We do allow cats to be foster-to-adopt after 8 weeks of age, if they are utd on vaccines, until they are spayed or neutered (4 months +) and receive final vaccines. After this, the adoption can be finalized.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a good life, especially those who are most vulnerable or abused, injured, have a disability or terminal illness, or are in need of medical care.

We are a no-kill care program and work hard to rehab and rehome as many cats as possible. We are all volunteers so we rely completely on donations.

Watch for postings of our adoptables daily! We want to help them find the right homes quickly so we can help more kitties!!

We are very fortunate that many times we see cats go from scared garbage kitties to beautiful loving cats and we want them to find great homes quickly...so we don't get too attached!!!
