My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Otto! Here is some great information from Otto's foster parents!

How is Otto with other dogs? He is generally good with other dogs! He likes to play and is pretty good at letting the other dog call the shots.

How is Otto with kids? He's pretty good!! He is calm with our 2 year old when she pets him a little rough. He is also really good with my niece (11) and nephew (8) who spend a lot of time here.

Is he potty trained? Yes. He has never had an accident in the house!!

Is he crate trained? We have never used a crate before but I am confident he would be ok with it.

Does Otto like cuddling or going on walks? He does like to cuddle and loves to be outside in the backyard sniffing and running around. He likes walks!!

What is the cutest thing about Otto? When you say his name or say something high pitched, he turns his head to the side and sticks out his tongue. It is sooooo cute!! He is very playful and is a total goofball. He also like belly rubs.

Where does Otto like to sleep? He sleeps under the kitchen table on an area rug :) but he also likes to sprawl out on the couch.

Does he know any tricks? He knows sit and stay and occasionally he will lay down. He also knows "outside and when it's time to come in from the backyard I holler "inside and he comes running. Otto is an all around great dog!!

Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. However, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal."
