My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hodol was saved from a place where a person had too many dogs and didn't look after them. When we found him, he had a really bad hernia that hurt him a lot. He couldn't even go to the bathroom without pain. We're so glad we got to him in time. After surgery to fix his hernia, he's now feeling good and is ready for a new home.

Hodol is a calm and easy-going dog. He's good with other dogs and doesn't start trouble. He doesn't really like young dogs that are too energetic or bossy. If you have another calm dog at home, he'd fit right in. But even if he's the only dog, he'd be happy. He's fine being alone and doesn't get upset. He's mostly quiet and doesn't bark much.

He might be a bit shy when he first meets someone new. But once he gets to know you, he's really sweet. He likes to be close to his people but in a quiet, gentle way.

If you're looking for a dog that's easy to take care of and doesn't need too much, Hodol's your guy. Someone who's got a calm life, maybe even retired, would be perfect for him. The person who adopts Hodol is going to be really lucky. He's a great dog.
