Meet Dahlia!
This cutie was rescued from a bad situation when she was just 5 weeks old. She is doing great now and is in one of our loving foster homes.
From her foster mom:
Dahlia is sweet and playful, and a little goofy. I watched the moment she realized she has ears and it was hilarious.
She sleeps through the night – either in her crate or a bed (hers, yours… whatever). She eats well and entertains herself with her toys. She calms nicely as well. Good balance of wanting to sit next to you and get pets, and wanting to chase the ball (and sleeping). Also, she likes to be carried around like a baby and tolerates a lot of handling so I think she would be good with kids (maybe not littles since she is teething). And she is quick to roll on her back for tummy rubs… her favorite.
Give her lots of things to chew on and she will be happy. She loves bully sticks and other chewy treats. She wants to be part of the action and will bark if she feels she is being left out (when she is in “the penn”), but hasn’t barked otherwise.
She knows to go potty when she goes outside, but we have had accidents in the house, as expected. I didn’t want to push too hard on crate training until she got comfortable.
Dahlia is such an awesome sweet puppy. She will be a wonderful addition to a loving family.
She is vaccinated and chipped and will be spayed at our cost between 8-12 months of age. Her adoption fee is $495.
