My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET PEACHES! She is as sweet as her name.

Peaches was rescued from a local shelter euthanasia list. She has medium to low energy. Peaches is dog selective and would do best with older kids and no cats or small dogs. She would be OK being the only animal in the home.

Peaches is very sweet and loves to get pets and cuddle with you. Don’t let her big size fool you as she is an absolute love bug.

Peaches is potty trained and crate trained. She is five years old and very easy to manage as long as she gets enough attention and some activity, but she doesn’t need much. Short walks will be fine for her because she gets tired pretty easily. She is strong because of her size.

Peaches is about 85 pounds of pure love. She would do best as an inside dog, since she does have allergies being in the sun. She would be OK in a home or apartment/condo as long as she has outside space to access, but she should not be kept outdoors.

Please let us know if you can foster her long-term for this rescue who is in desperate need of help. Fostering for a rescue still helps save lives because it allows the rescue to take in more dogs from the shelter.

Her Rescue will cover basic needs, including food and medical expenses as well as supplies.

Additional adoption info

Upon initial inquiry on one of our pets, we begin the process by having all potential adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we then set up a face to face meeting with the pet you are interested in. A home and yard check is required prior to adoption. Once adoption is finalized, an adoption fee is collected, an adoption contract is agreed to and signed by both parties, and the animal is turned over to it's new adoptive owner/family. Follow ups take place during the first month to insure the pet and the household is adjusting to the pet, and any issues, questions or concerns are addressed.
