My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An AALOC team member came in for an early morning shift and found three kittens in a carrier on the front porch. The kittens were abnormally quiet and the staff member had no idea how long ago they had been abandoned. Concerned for thier well-being, the kittens were all taken to our vet who estimated they were six months old and healthy.

Because AALOC's shelter was already full, these kittens – named Copper, Jet and Missy – are still in boarding at our vet. The team there says they are all very friendly little lovers. We are very anxious though to find Copper, Missy and Jet a home.

Copper is a darling male orange and white, domestic short-hair tabby. Ginger cats are known to be particularly friendly and social felines. And much like the well-known orange tabby Garfield, they can also be less active (dare we say lazy?) cats. They tend to be pretty vocal about their needs and share their affection openly for their owners. Overall, Copper would make a great addition to your family.

Please apply to adopt Copper at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Copper and get to know him a bit.

Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
