My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Manny. I'm a 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd Mix, and I weigh a solid 62lbs. Life has been quite an adventure for me, and I'm ready to find my forever family!

First things first, I'm a good boy when it comes to training. I've got the hang of crate and potty training, and I'm even acing basic commands like sit, stay, and leash manners. It's been a lot of work, but I'm eager to please my humans.

I absolutely love playing with both male and female dogs, although I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet.

When it comes to treats, I've mastered the art of taking them with the utmost care. No need to worry about my manners there! And guess what? I'm heartworm negative and all up-to-date on my shots, so I'm healthy and ready to join your family.

I'm an active guy, so I'd do best in a home with a fenced backyard where I can run and play. Apartment living isn't really my thing, but I'd thrive in a family environment, especially if there are kids to play with!

Car rides are a blast for me, and I promise I won't be a backseat driver. Plus, I'm not at all aggressive when it comes to toys. So, if you're looking for a loyal, well-trained, and adaptable furry friend, I'm your Manny.

Additional adoption info

We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue

The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
