Did somebody say, "ball?! I'm Beau, and my goodness, do I love a good play session with the ball! My idea of a perfect day with my very own forever human would be a car ride to someplace adventurous where we can play ball and goof around together. Maybe some other doggo friends could even joins us - I'd like that.
I'm a 1-year-old, 80-lb cool dude who is ready to roll when it comes to a forever home. I'm potty-trained, great on a leash, very well-behaved, and super sweet. I've also been told I'm easy to train. What can I say, I love to learn! When I'm not feeling studious, I'm generally a goofy guy who is sure to keep you smiling and laughing. I am looking for an active home - so lots of yard play, walks, and fetch for me, please!
I hope you'll submit an application to make me your buddy, and we can go on so many awesome adventures together!

The Street Dog Project is comprised of a small group of volunteers who are passionate about saving street dogs in Dallas, TX. The majority of our team was previously heavily involved at another local street dog rescue but left for various reasons over the years. We wanted to save more lives so "got the band back together". We are an experienced team of rescuers, operating under a new name.
We have a lot of experience capturing elusive street dogs and helping them adjust to life in a loving home.
The dogs are taken to the vet upon rescue so they can be examined, dewormed, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive) and attend to any other medical needs. Life on the streets is tough so a lot of the dogs we take in have beyond basic medical needs. Heartworm, mange, leg and eye injuries are some of the most common medical conditions we encounter.
We are an all-volunteer organization and rely on donations to save lives. Donations can be made by clicking the "donate now" button on our Facebook page or visiting www.thestreetdogproject.org. Thanks for your support!
