Say hello to 97! This big, strapping cat has striking eyes and a gentle meow. He loves head scratches and belly rubs! As a young guy, he was found abandoned behind a local shopping center. When I brought him into my rescue program, my husband asked, "What's that make? 97 cats?" Which is how 97 got his name. He is a mellow cat who adores attention. He is neutered, litter box trained, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-free, and microchipped. He is FLV/FIV negative. Once acquainted, he seems to do okay with feline friends after a proper introduction, though he has been known to pick a few fights. He could potentially do best as a solitary cat. He does, however, love friendly dogs! He has never been around children. During initial meetings with prospective adopters, he may be a bit shy and need a brief adjustment period in his new home. Give him the time and space to feel safe, and soon you'll witness his true personality shine.
