Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hobbes is an 11-week old Goldendoodle/German Shorthaired Pointer mix. Hobbes was part of an accidental litter. The family was overwhelmed with a surprise addition of 10 to the household, so Hobbes’s foster mom offered to help out with the adoption efforts and care for him in the meantime.
Hobbes is the smartest little pup his foster mom has ever met!! He already learned all of his basic commands (sit, stay, come, lie down, crate, drop it, off, etc.) and is nearly housetrained. He will now sit at the door and wait for you to take him out to potty. He’s also a big ol’ cuddlebug, so if you wanted your lap space to yourself…sorry, it’s been claimed!
Hobbes would do best in a home that can provide him with plenty of mental stimulation and outside time. Although he’s still a baby, he has solved every Kong puzzle toy offered to him in the span of 30 minutes. We are working on crate and leash training currently.
If you think you would be a good home for Hobbes please reach out!
