My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued Wallace from a kill shelter. He's been vetted and heartworm treated by us and is in a loving foster home. He is very affectionate, loves tummy rubs. He is chill. Wallace gets along with people and dogs and although his foster has no cats, they feel he would be fine with them. He has been on prednisone since hw treated so he occasionally has an accident inside but hopefully that will resolve soon. He does well if taken out regularly on schedule. Wallace just wants love. He's a great boy. His cherry eye is purely cosmetic. We wanted to have it fixed but the vet said that it would only pop back out due to the shape of his face. 6 yrs old 62 lb. Neuter, shots, microchip provided. Low and slow. What a cutie!

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
