Junie is a sweet angel with the purest heart. When comfortable, she will shower you with kisses and snuggles. She is 100% hound and highly food motivated, and has caught a bunny or two in her day. She is a shy girl, very much so the runt of the pack and needs a home with a confident dog to follow around and take her cues from. She is housetrained when kept on a schedule (she will not ask to go out, and is crate trained and loves her crate. Junie is very nervous of men, including the male in her current home despite living with him for a couple years. If there are any men in her new home, they will need to understand and be very patient with her fear and know she may never bond to them or be comfortable with them. She would be best in a quiet home with adults as loud noises startle and scare her. Junie is a sweetheart and whatever happened in her life prior to rescue definitely left her with some trauma but we are sure there is a home out there where she will thrive in.

Requirements: Fenced yard. Home with another dog

Adoption Fee: $400 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.
