John Wayne is an adorable 7 month, 35 lbs pittie mix that was found as a stray in a rural area of SC. He was completely shut down and petrified, hiding in the back of his crate. Staff had to carry him in and out because he was frozen from fear. He would perk up when around other dogs and did extremely well with all of them. John Wayne is now safe here in MD in a foster home where he is coming out of his shell and learning what it means to be a pup. He loves to snuggle and follow his person everywhere. He is doing great with a crate and working on all his manners. John Wayne would do great in a home with other social friendly dogs where he can continue to build his confidence and shine. He will be a very loyal companion to a very lucky family.
