Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chief (neutered male) 4 years - Pit Bull Terrier mix (57lbs) Surrendered due to moving/housing Described as active - couch potato - affectionate - quiet/shy - playful Lived inside - Moderate/High energy Cons: Chews - Jumps on people - Separation anxiety Pros: Housebroken - Walks on leash - Smart - Playful - Rides in car Knows sit - lay - shake Likes tennis balls, kong toys and tire Good w/ women, men, children Fair w/ other dogs, cats, livestock
From volunteer: Chief is an extremely sweet dog and did very well in the car with me! He either sat or laid down which was great. He is very comfortable with every human he comes across and loves to play, lick, and be cuddled. He also walks on the leash super well and after I ran with him for a bit, he didn't pull or tug on the leash at all while we walked. He would be a great dog to take on a morning run with! All in all, he seems like the perfect family dog but would probably need to be the only dog in the family. I loved hanging out with him for the day and all he needs is some love from a family and a quieter environment than the shelter!!
Adoption Fee: $50 (sponsored by generous donors)
