Hi there!! My name is Orien…but everyone calls me Ryan - and I am really getting used to it!
I am full of energy, playful, fun and ready to go with you anywhere and explore the world. I get a little anxious with car rides but I hop right in as I am most happy not being left behind. I start off my walk on leash pulling a little, but then settle down when I go on walks with my foster sister and mom. I just want a forever home that understands t I am still a puppy and getting used to everything.
Ryan is food, love and attention driven. He shares toys well, but for now I separate Ryan and my dog Stella during feeding…just so both get the portions that they are meant to have.
Ryan is a happy young boy and quite smart. He is working on shaking your hand. He can get excited and start to jump, but he knows better and with a look or light command immediately stays down. He now sits and waits for his food bowl to be place on the ground before attacking it with gusto. He is learning not to jump at the gate or try to squeeze around you when opening it up. He has improved greatly in only few weeks. He is still working on his basic commands like SIT (although he is pretty good at this one), DOWN, STAY/WAIT so some basic obedience schooling would be fun to do as he wants to please.
Ryan likes to be part of the household and is crate and house trained. He thrives on attention, will follow you anywhere and loves to make you happy and earn that treat. He seems to do well with most dogs, but probably would do best with a large dog, preferable northern breed, and experienced owner and will need someone with who will take the time to pet, train and love him. No small animals such as chickens, rabbits or cats please though, pretty please!
He is a Neutered Male, 1 year old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, OK with Large Dogs but not sure at this point about Small dogs, has Rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella vaccinations, and is current with Advantage for flea etc. control, and he is Microchipped.
