My name is Kenzie!

Looking for a new home for Kenzie! She is a 17-month-old (aprox) German Sheperd mix, potentially mixed with English Pointer, fully vaccinated. She is an incredibly sweet, loving, puppy who longs to sit outside, by herself or with others, and watch the world and birds go by! She could sit outside with our cats all day. She was recently rescued in May and adjusted well to our home after about 2 months, getting along so well with other dogs she has lived with. I travel a lot for work and no longer am with a partner who was supporting me caring for her while I traveled. 

 She is incredibly loving and will want to be your little spoon and lay with you all day! She is still a puppy in energy level, so would love a chance to run around and walk but can spend most of the day sleeping. She is DEEPLY calm in the car, and is a wonderful road trip or any car trip companion. She is a great walking companion, never pulling on the leash. She isn’t interested in other dogs you may meet on walks but she can live comfortably with another friendly dog or cats in the home. She LOVES cats! She has been known to open doors (both sliding glass doors and handle doors), so she is VERY smart and easily trainable. She opens sliding glass doors delicately with her teeth and handle doors with her paws. She isn’t food aggressive in any way and in general isn’t food motivated (unless it’s an especially good treat!). Mostly, she just wants attention and pets!
