I'm Mini Sol, and I'm a Miniature Schnauzer, about five years old and 6.6 pounds. My foster mom thinks I've made a good adjustment to my foster home and has observed the following in the three days she's known me: I'm potty trained and haven't had a single accident inside the house! I've accepted the crate and have learned to walk upstairs, but I'm still working on going downstairs.
I do well walking on a leash in the backyard, but I need additional training to walk in the neighborhood. I'm still a bit timid and skittish, but I love curling up on my foster mom's lap and snoozing. Most of the rest of the time I've been content to stay in the bed in the the laundry room where my crate is, but I have started coming out to explore more. I'm getting along OK with the other small dog in the house. She also thinks I'll be even cuter when my hair grows back out (the groomer had to get rid of some mats), and I'm very sweet and gentle. I want a home with a patient owner who will work to build my confidence and enjoy lots of lap time!
Unknown: whether I like children, cats, or bigger dogs. My foster mom says I'm timid when exposed to new things, but that I'm also curious and spunky!
