My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Waffles. I am a 10-month-old puppy, weighing about 55-60 lbs. My family adopted me when I was just about 2 months old. They thought I was going to be 25-30 lbs. I’m a mix of Pug/German Shepard, mostly. I rock the curly tail. My mom has taken me to puppy classes and I’ve done well at learning my name, sitting, laying down, etc., but I have more learning to do. My mom loves mornings with me when I hand her a paw, she gives me a belly rub, I get breakfast and we hug. Then I’m off to the backyard.

As with any puppy, I’m playful and very energetic. Due to my large size (and my mom’s 5’3” frame), she cannot hold me back when I get super excited and interested in something. She thinks it may be better for me to be with an owner who can hold onto me out in public until I become a well-behaved adult dog

1.
Submit Application

You will submit an application to our email. The board will review it. If approved then we move on to the 2nd step.

2.
Interview

We have you provide a video of your yard and house and a short introduction to yourself.

3.
Home Check

We come out for a home check and meet and greet. If all looks well then our dog may be adopted.

Additional adoption info

We have our adoption events at Petsmart in Rancho Cucamonga but we also drive our pets on the weekends to their new home if approved by the board.

More about this rescue

We are veterans who came together because of dog rescue. We have similar views and respect for ideals. It is always about the dog with us. We want to make sure that the dog is a good fit for the home that is adopting them. Our dogs have not always had the best life and we believe they all deserve the best life can offer.
