My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Swifty is 1 1/2 years old, super tiny (40 pounds) and is not only sweet but tons of fun too! Looking for someone to play fetch with? Go for a run? A Swimming buddy? Cuddle on the couch? Then Swifty is your girl!!

Swifty is good with other friendly dogs and every person she meets.

Swifty is fixed, chipped, up to date on vaccinations and prevention. Her adoption fee is $250 and includes microchip and registration. Apply online today- www.bigheartsbigdogs.com/adopt

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application where we check vet and personal references. We also preform a home visit before you adopt your next best friend. Then there is a adoption contact with an adoption fee. We offer continued support even after a dog is adopted. Have questions? Just call us! If a dog is not working out in a home for any reason what so ever, we gladly take him or her back. We want to make sure he or she finds the perfect home.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of individuals who saw a desperate need for advocates of larger breed dogs. Smaller dogs are adopted faster and rescued more often. And just like that new hope is born. A new hope and beginning for big dogs in South Florida. Our hope is that this rescue brings big hearts together to save more animals. We also have BIG HEARTS for Pit Bulls, a very misunderstood breed.
