My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Evie! I am 2 1/2 years old and I weigh 48 pounds. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I am very friendly, and I love to snuggle and be petted. I really enjoy being with people and I’m good with kids. I’m good with other dogs of all ages and sizes and cats. One of my favorite games to play with my four-legged friends is to take turns playing chase. I have a medium energy level and I rarely bark. I am housetrained and I will put my head on my fosters lap and look up at her when I need to go outside and potty. I’m a fast learner and I’m very intelligent. I am also very agile. In my video I have just been turned over to the rescue and I was a little nervous, so I kept jumping up on my foster. That behavior has improved greatly, so please don’t let that keep you from adopting me! I’m a wonderful companion with lots of love and loyalty to give! I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home - belly rubs are a must!

I am spayed, heartworm, negative, and up-to-date on my DHPP and rabies vaccines. A copy of my vetting paperwork will accompany me to my new home. The fosters phone number will be provided once your application is approved.

I was surrendered to the rescue a lady with four young kids and several other dogs in the home, and I believe she felt like it was just to crowded and decided to rehome us. It does not look like I have ever been bred but the rescue cannot confirm that information.

Email is the best method of contact. Applications can be found on the rescue website Carolinacaninerescuenc.com

I was surrendered to the rescue by a “want to be breeder”that changed her mind.
