My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonjour, my name is Toupee Cabriolet, and I am an adorable 6-month-old, female, cow kitten. My foster mom says that the big black splotch on my head looks I'm wearing a toupee, and cabriolet because ... well, why not? I am very playful and loving. I will roll around and around trying to get you to pay attention to me. I love to give you head butts and chatter at you when I want attention. I would love a snuggle buddy! I really really, really love other cats. I even like other cats who don't appreciate my affectionate advances. But I am sure that I will win them over with my unending charm. I'm happy to lounge in a cozy sunny spot, be petted by my people and hang out with my feline friends. I'm fairly mellow and laid back. I'm great at using my litterbox and I'm very food motivated. Apply for me today. I just know we'll have an instant connection. Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
