Meet Kangaroo Jack, the boy with a heart the size of his head. Which, if you haven't noticed, is adorably large. Ever the social butterfly, Jack loves meeting new people! In fact, he loves everything about life including trail walks, cuddles, car rides, snow...even veggies! Jack also fancies himself a lapdog, and will happily cuddle up on the couch with his smooshy face in your lap. Kangaroo Jack is playful, but he is also incredibly intelligent! He knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw" and working on learning new tricks. Come meet him at our Madison location today and prepare to have Kangaroo Jack bound his way into your heart! Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community. St. Hubert’s also provides animal control services by contract in several municipalities in proximity to the shelters.
