My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

tuxie bio

Tuxie is the sweetest little lady around. She loves to lay on your chest purring, get her armpit massages and take lots of naps. She’ll be right at your door when you get home to greet you with headbutts and loud cooing purrs. She is fine spending the day alone as long as you give her all the pets when you get back and loves to be the queen of her domain as a single cat. Tuxie always likes to show you how grateful she is by giving you lots of licks. She loves to be involved in whatever you are doing so be prepared to have a fantastic assistant by your side (or on top of you). If you’re the first time cat owner or looking for a low maintenance cat to join your family Tuxie would be perfect fit for you.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
