My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings, seekers of knowledge and magical wonders! I am Ravenclaw, a captivating brown tabby with a heart as curious as a library of enchanted books and a spirit as bright as a Lumos charm. Life's enchanting path has led me to seek a new adventure-a forever home where the pages of my story are filled with love and shared spells of companionship. With my intelligent nature and a touch of Harry Potter charm, I promise to bring a bit of magic to your world.

My coat is adorned with intricate tabby patterns, each marking a chapter in my tale of exploration. But beyond appearances, I carry the wisdom of a true Ravenclaw. My inquisitive nature drives me to unravel the mysteries of my surroundings, and I approach life with a sense of wonder and a thirst for knowledge. Whether it's chasing after wand-like toys or gazing at the stars, I'm always ready to embrace the magic around me.

When it comes to companionship, I'm a loyal friend with a heart of gold. Much like the magical creatures in the wizarding world, I have a knack for sensing your emotions and providing comfort when needed. The warmth of your touch is my happiest spell, and my purrs are like the soothing melodies of a wizarding lullaby.

My intelligent and gentle nature extends to both humans and other pets. I'm eager to share insights, learn together, and explore the depths of friendship. Whether you're a Hufflepuff seeking a trustworthy partner or a Slytherin drawn to my enigmatic allure, I'm here to create a magical bond that transcends the boundaries of our world.

But what I truly yearn for is a forever home-a place where my curiosity can thrive and my heart can soar on the wings of an owl. If you're ready to embark on a journey with a feline companion who embodies the spirit of Ravenclaw, I'm here, waiting for you to be my magical companion.

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
